The company also sells isotonic sport drinks, iced tea, and bottled water, as well as offers malt and by-products to third parties. It also bottles, sells, and distributes PepsiCo International, Inc.’s products in Brazil and in other Latin American countries. The company has a licensing agreement with Anheuser-Busch, Inc. to produce, bottle, sell, and distribute Budweiser products in Canada. Companhia de Bebidas distributes its products through third-party distributors and the company’s direct distribution centers in 14 countries across the Americas. The company was founded in 1888 and is headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

For the nine months ended 30 September 2006, Companhia de Bebidas das Americas' total revenues rose 9% to R$12.34B. Net income totaled R$1.63B, up from R$848.5M. Revenues reflect higher sales from Beer Brazil and CSD & Nanc Brazil segments. Net income reflects higher gross profit margins as well as a rise in minority interest and financial revenues. Earnings also benefited from lower miscellaneous operating and non-operating expenses.
