For the nine months ended 30 September 2006, Aleris International, Inc.'s revenues rose 81% to $3.26B. Net income fell 25% to $59.4M. Revenues reflect higher sales from acquired operations of Corus Aluminium, ALSCO, Tomra Latasa, Alumitech & the acquired assets of Ormet, increased sales from the Global Rolled products & Exruded Products segment. Net income was offset by higher selling, general & administrative costs and increased interest expense.
