Its food products include fresh, smoked, and cooked pork sausage and hickory-smoked bacon products; convenience food items in the refrigerated and frozen areas of grocery stores, such as mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, microwaveable sandwiches, and slow-roasted main dish entres in the east north central, mid-Atlantic, southern, and southwestern United States. The company sells its products through direct-store delivery system and customer warehouses, as well as through food wholesalers and distributors. Bob Evans Farms was founded in 1953 and is based in Columbus, Ohio.
