The Specialty Packaging segment offers specialty packaging and thermal control products, as well as related compliance training, for the transport of infectious and biological specimens and thermally sensitive pharmaceutical, and other medical products. The company sells its products through its own direct distribution network, as well as through third-party distributors. Cantel also operates in Canada, the Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America/South America. The company was founded in 1963 and is based in Little Falls, New Jersey.

For the three months ended 31 October 2006, Cantel Medical Corp.'s revenues increased 6% to $50.5M. Net income from continuing operations decreased 22% to $1.7M.
