For the nine months ended 30 September 2006, Canadian Pacific Railway Limited's revenues rose 5% to C$3.39B. Net income rose 60% to C$650.2M. Revenues reflect higher freight income due to an increase in sales of grain and higher industrial consumer products income. Net income also reflects lower equipment rent expense, reduced costs related to purchased services and a decrease in interest expense due to positive effect of foreign exchange.
