Environmental Elements Corporation provides technology for plant services, air pollution control equipment, and complementary products. It operates in two units, Systems and Services. The Systems unit provides custom-engineered, original equipment systems to users of air pollution control systems. The Services unit provides maintenance, repair, and spare parts products and services to customers with particulate abatement installed APC equipment. The company also supplies electrostatic precipitators to remove particulate matter from combustion exhaust streams primarily for power generation and pulp and paper customers; filter systems to control and recover dust and other particulates in a variety of utility and industrial applications for power-generation, pulp and paper, incineration, and other industrial customers; and semi-dry scrubbers for the reduction of acid gases, such as sulfur oxides and hydrogen chloride emissions primarily for municipal solid waste incineration facilities. Environmental Elements was incorporated in 1983 and is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.

For the nine months ended 12/31/04, revenues fell 17% to $18.7 million. Net loss totaled $1.2 million, up from $303 thousand. Results reflect spending constraints, smaller size of repair and maintenance projects awarded and the absence of gain on lease assignment and debt restructuring.
