For the nine months ended 30 September 2006, Edison International's revenues increased 8% to $9.56B. Net income from continuing operations before accounting change and applicable to Common decreased 1% to $817M. Revenues reflect increased sales from the electric utility and nonutility power generation segments. Net income was offset by higher fuel costs, an increase in purchased power expenses and higher other operation & maintenance costs.
