Amcor PET segment provides polyethylene triphthalate (PET) packaging for various beverage and food products, including carbonated soft drinks, water, juices, sports drinks, milk-based beverages, spirits and beer, sauces, dressings, spreads, and personal care items, as well as plastic caps for a range of applications. Amcor Australasia segment provides corrugated boxes, cartons, and folding cartons; steel and aluminum cans for foods, beverages, and household products; flexible packaging; PET plastic jars and bottles; plastic and metal closures; glass wine bottles; multiwall sacks; carton boards; and paper and paper recycling products. Amcor Flexibles segment offers flexible and film packaging for the food and beverage and pharmaceutical sectors, including confectionery, coffee, fresh food, and dairy, as well as for medical applications. This segment also offers specialty folding cartons for tobacco, confectionery, and cosmetics. Amcor Sunclipse segment purchases, warehouses, sells, and delivers variety of products. The business also manufactures corrugated and other mostly fiber-based specialty product packaging including 'point of sale' displays. Amcor Asia segment provides tobacco carton packaging; and flexible plastic packaging for the food and industrial markets. Amcor Limited was founded in 1926 and is headquartered in Abbotsford, Australia.

For the six months ended 31 December 2005, Amcor Limited's revenues increased 4% to A$5.78B. Net income decreased 12% to A$201.9M. Revenue reflects increased sales from Amcor PET, Amcor Australasia, Amcor Sunclipse, Amcor Asia and other segments of the Group. Net income was offset by decreased operating margins and higher financial expenses due to increased short term interest rates in the US & non cash expenses relating to transition to IFRS.
