China Yili Petroleum Company, together with its subsidiaries, engages in refining petroleum to produce asphalt, diesel fuel, and lubricants. Its petroleum asphalt is burnt to produce coke, which is the main fuel source for steelmaking; blended with anthracite and liquid asphalt, then used as blast furnace refractory material or as the primary component of electrolyte aluminium anodes, electric steelmaking electrodes, heat exchangers, and for other high temperature resistant uses; and undiluted for paving roads and roofs. The company’s diesel fuel include light diesel fuel, which is used by trucks, tractors, and diesel automobiles; and heavy diesel fuel that is used in low speed engines, as well as lubricating oil to meet specific machine requirements, such as bearing case in a grinding machine, and metal cutting machinery and the hydraulic systems in industrial equipment. It also organizes trade-shows for the apparel industry, including ASAP global sourcing show for U.S. buyers to meet various overseas ready-made garment manufacturers; and fashion international trade show, a licensing trade show held in China to launch international fashion, accessory, and footwear brands into China. The company’s trade-shows also include ASAP buying trip for the United States and European Union buyers prepared to place production orders, license their brands, understand China's distribution channels, find joint venture possibilities, and relocate the United States textile plants to China.
