Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited, together with its subsidiaries, provides mobile and fixed-line telecommunications services in the Asia Pacific region. It offers person-to-person mobile video calling, streaming/downloading of music and video clips, and information and entertainment services, such as news, financial information, fashion, weather, traffic updates, and movie trailers; voicemail, caller identification display, call waiting, call forwarding and call blocking, local voice, and IDD and international roaming services, as well as wireless Internet access, email and corporate network connection, inter-operator video calls, short message services, and BlackBerry wireless email services; and multimedia message services over GSM and GPRS platforms. The company also provides a portal of content services, including video-based services, TV channels and music contents, Internet and broadband services, ISP services, Wi-Fi, and Web based entertainment multimedia services, as well as cricket updates, new alerts, ring tones, picture downloads, missed call alerts, caller ring tones, and peer-to-peer reload services. In addition, it offers WAP, interactive voice response, and Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless-based applications; and Hutchkey, which allows subscribers to access a Hutch service portal housing various content, including ringtones, truetones, karaoke, wallpapers, video clips, sports, news, horoscopes, lifestyle, restaurant guides, and finance. Further, the company engages in leasing telecommunications network equipment, as well as in mobile telecommunications retail operations; and provides ancillary, data center facilities, management and treasury, and information technology services. It operates in Indonesia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, and Israel. The company was founded in 1985 and is based in Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited is a subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa Limited.

For the six months ended 30 June 2006, Hutchison Telecom International Ltd.'s revenues increased 48% to HK$15.67B. Net income from continuing operations totaled HK$2M, vs. a loss of HK$354M. Revenues reflect higher sales from mobile telecommunications service and fixed-line telecommunications segments.
